The Midwest Shooting School’s home grounds are located at Clear Creek Outdoors, Inc. a private hunting club featuring upland gamebird hunting, gundog training, and sporting clays.
Upland Gamebird Hunting at our Hunting Club
Clear Creek’s hunting club activities include challenging field hunting for farmland gamebirds, and driven pheasant shoots. Our driven shoots present high-flying pheasants in a manner which would make any English estate proud.
Upland bird hunting is available through the hunting club, during most months of the year.
Daily or annual hunt club memberships are required for hunting with us. The annual memberships offer special privileges and discounts for hunting, gundog training and even shooting school services.

Gundog Training
We offer two approaches to help you produce a better hunting companion:
Individualized Instruction
...offered on an hourly basis. In these sessions, we train you, as well as your dog. We recommend a series of sessions for best results. For those of our clients who have the time and ambition to do most of their own training, this is all the assistance they need.
Monthly Gundog Training
Leaving your dog with us for training is your best option if:

1. You lack the time and expertise to do the training yourself;

2. The dog presents some particularly demanding training challenges;

3. You need the trained to a certain skill level as quickly as possible.
We plan the training based on your priorities, and the behavior and abilities of your dog.

Sporting Clays
The course at Clear Creek has been featured in both Sporting Classics and Shooting Sportsman magazines, as well as a number of other publications.
It is one of a kind... In a beautiful setting, it offers an incredible array of target presentations, with unmatched flexibility. There are appropriate targets here for the new shooter to learn on, as well as a myriad of targets for the world class competitor.
