If you are flying in....
You have many options if you are trying to fly in on one of the commercial airlines.
The Minneapolis airport (MSP) is served by many airlines, and is two hours and fifteen minutes away by car.
Duluth International Airport (DLH) is served by Delta Airlines, with a number of daily connecting flights through Minneapolis. Duluth is also served by United, through Chicago O’Hare, and Sun Country through Phoenix, Fort Myers, and Madison.
The Duluth airport is one half-hour from our door.
If you are flying in on a private aircraft, Duluth International offers the fullest range of services. Duluth also has a second, smaller airport, and Cloquet, MN and Superior, WI also have small airports within one half-hour.

The Midwest Shooting School
From the Duluth downtown area:
Take I-35 south from the downtown area.
Exit in West Duluth at the Grand Ave./Highway 23 exit (a left-hand exit). It is 15 miles from this point to our driveway.
Stay on Highway 23 through Gary New Duluth and Fon du Lac. Once you cross the St. Louis River, it is 6.5 miles to our driveway.
The driveway will be on your left, marked by a brown sign with white letters which say “Midwest Shooting School” and “Clear Creek”. There are also two white pheasant silhouettes on the sign.
From Duluth International Airport:
As you leave the airport, turn right onto Haines Road, Follow Haines for approximately five miles -- you will drop down the hill into western Duluth, and eventually intersect Interstate 35. Take I-35 south about 1-1/2 miles, then take the Grand Ave./Hwy. 23 exit (a left-hand exit). Stay on Hwy. 23 through Gary New Duluth and Fon du Lac. Once you cross the St. Louis River, it is 6.5 miles to our driveway.

From Superior, WI:
Cross over into Duluth on either Hwy. 53 or Hwy. 2. Take Interstate 35 south and exit in West Duluth at the Grand Ave./Hwy. 23 exit (a left-hand exit). (Please note that if you enter onto I-35 from US Hwy. 2, you will stay on I-35 for only 1/2 mile, and you will need to get over fairly quickly for the left-hand Grand Ave./Hwy. 23 exit.)

From the Superior Airport:
Take US 35 (not the same as Interstate 35) south from the airport approximately 1.5 to 2 miles, and turn west on to #105. #105 will take you through Oliver, and across the St. Louis River into Gary-New Duluth, and will end on MN Hwy. 23 in Gary. Turn left on to Hwy 23, and drive south approximately 9.5 miles. Our driveway will be on your left, marked by a brown sign with white letters which say “Midwest Shooting School” and “Clear Creek”. There are also two white pheasant silhouettes on the sign.
From the Twin Cities:
Take I-35 north. Exit I-35 onto MN Hwy 23 at the second exit north of Hinckley. This is the Finlayson/Askov exit. Turn right toward Askov. From this exit, it almost exactly 40 miles to our driveway.
The club fronts on Hwy. 23... as you approach it, there is a landmark to watch for...
1/4 mile before our driveway, you will drive by the green and white state sign marking Clear Creek.
The club drive is on your right, and the turn in is quite sharp when approaching from the south. You will see our sign once you turn into the driveway.
From the Range (US Hwy 53):
Take US 53 south toward Duluth. Turn right at the first stoplight you encounter when approaching the Duluth area. This is the Midway Road. Over a distance of approximately fifteen miles you will go through two stoplights and pass underneath Interstate 35, eventually dead-ending on MN Hwy 23 in Gary-New Duluth. Turn right onto Hwy 23; it is approximately eleven miles to our club. Our driveway will be on your left, marked by a brown sign that says “Midwest Shooting School” and “Clear Creek”, with two white pheasant silhouettes.
From the Grand Rapids area (US Hwy 2):
As you approach the Duluth area on US Hwy 2, turn right at the stoplight for Midway Road. Over a distance of approximately ten miles, you will pass underneath Interstate 35, eventually dead-ending on MN Hwy 23 in Gary-New Duluth. Turn right onto Hwy 23; it is approximately eleven miles to our club. Our driveway will be on your left, marked by a brown sign that says “Midwest Shooting School” and “Clear Creek”, with two white pheasant silhouettes.
From the Cloquet/Carlton area:
Take County Road 1 south from Carlton through Wrenshall. One mile south of Wrenshall, turn left on County Road 4. Drive two miles and then turn right onto MN Hwy 23. Go 1/2 mile south, and the club will be on your left, marked by a brown sign that says “Midwest Shooting School” and “Clear Creek”, with two white pheasant silhouettes.
